To prepare yourself for such a situation, the Kontaktparty in collaboration with Goldwyn Partners Group AG offers you the opportunity to have your CV checked by professional consultants.
CV Check before the Kontaktparty
On Tuesday the 19th of February 2019 Goldwyn will help you polish your CV. This will take place during a personal counseling and 20 minutes later your CV will even convince your future employer.

LinkedIn & Fair Preparation
Visiting company fairs is an important component during your application process. It helps you to widen your network, to get in touch with the companies and to test how company representatives perceive you. Based on concrete examples, you will learn how to best prepare for a company fair and how to make most out of such an event.
The event "LinkedIn & Fair Preparation" takes place on Thursday the 21st of February 2019 at CAB G 51 at 5.15 p.m. until approx. 6.30 p.m. No registration required.
Interview Training
The ETH Career Center presents a self-produced video, which shows a job interview situation withtypical first questions, good and critical answers but also frequently observed uncertainties. On thebasis of the video and additional comments you will see what you can expect in a first job interview, what stands behind the questions and which is the best way to demonstrate your skills.
The interview training takes place on Monday the 25th of February 2019 at CAB G 51 at 5.15 p.m. until approx. 6.30 p.m. No registration required.

Mock Interviews
In order to prepare you for the workforce, we are organizing technical mock interviews in cooperation with selected companies before the Kontaktparty this year. There you can show off your skills to the companies and see how well you would do in a real interview.
The mock interviews take place on Firday the 22nd of February 2019 from 11.00 a.m. until 5.00 p.m. at CAB H 52 and CAB H 53. Information about the registration was broadcasted to all D-INFK students by email. If you didn't receive it please contact us by mail: side-event at kontaktparty.ethz.ch.
Career Paths
Former ETH students with different professional profiles present their career path. Professionals from the industry, consultants, Start-Up scene and research will show you what they do. Afterwards an aperitif will take place where you can ask Questions to the company representatives in a casual environment.
