Joshua Durrant

Joshua Durrant he/him

Role: Präsidium

As the president of VIS, my job is to ensure that VIS runs at every hour of the day. I also represent VIS in all official matters, be it in meetings with VSETH or the department. Besides that you will probably see me at various different events or in other VIS activities, so do not be shy and come say hi! If you have any complaints or ideas to make VIS even better, do not hesitate to write to me per Mail or on Slack.

Elmar Bung

Elmar Bung he/him

Role: Hochschulpolitik, Vize

Hi, I'm Elmar. As your favorite HoPo presi, it is my job to represent our members in front of ETH, our department and VSETH. Together with my amazing committee, I work on improving your everyday life as a student at ETH. If you want to help us doing that, why not reach out to us with a complaint about your studies or fill out that survey that's lying around in your mailbox?

Joël Ullrich

Joël Ullrich he/him

Role: Quästur

Hey, I'm responsible for the finances of VIS. You'll find me in oVIS most of the time or near the coffee machines (I love coffee! I'd kill for coffee! — seriously, I will be forever grateful if you bring me some coffee :) If you see me around, don't hesitate to say hi. I might look stressed out (usually because our accounting software is throwing a tantrum again) but I'm always happy to hear from you.

Frederik Ott

Frederik Ott he/him

Role: Softwareentwicklungsverantwortlicher

I’m responsible for software development at VIS. This includes maintaining existing software, developing new features, and, of course, fixing bugs. If you’d like to help develop new features for Community Solutions or the Event Manager, or contribute to the new VIS website, then join CAT and stop by at one of our ThursdayHacks. If you have your own ideas that you’d like to implement, feel free to reach out to me and i’m happy to talk about them.

Junus Hirner

Junus Hirner he/him

Role: Systemadministrator

Hello, I'm your (not so) professional fire fighter. As the person in charge of the computer infrastructure at VIS, I make sure computer infrastructure doesn’t burn down. Note: If Community Solutions is ever down, then rest assured that it is 100%% intentional and definitely not due to failing migrations.

Jonas He

Jonas He he/him

Role: External Relations

VIS does not have infinite money, so we need companies to sponsor us. I am responsible for begging for money. Join ERK to help VIS get more sponsorships, meaning more events and more free beer! ERK is also responsible for organizing workshops and guest lectures.

Mark Krutzler

Mark Krutzler he/him

Role: Festminister

I am the yin to the yang when it comes to your student life. The FKK organizes most of the cool events during the semester and me being the Party Person, I somehow landed in the middle of it. If you would like to throw the party, then I am your contact person. Please contact me I like parties.

Metehan Kılıç

Metehan Kılıç he/him

Role: Lernunterstützung

a.k.a the exam guy. Together with a committee full of great people I maintain the exam collection, organize the PVWs and mentoring event. We also support you as you are trying to survive during lernphase with gipfeli, ice cream and more. If this is interesting for you, we would be happy to see you in LUK. And if you see me around and wanna chat, feel free to say hi!

Severin Mills

Severin Mills he/him

Role: Aktuar

My job as Aktuar is to make sure that the decisions made by the board actually exist, because if I didn't protocol what was said in the board meetings, did it really happen? In general, my job is to keep the minutes of our board meetings, the general assembly and maintain our mailing lists. I am the guy who can prevent the board from gaslighting itself about what we agreed on three weeks ago. In practice, this means I'm furiously typing while everyone else gets to have an opinion. But as a former president once said, an Aktuar has no say at the board meetings anyways, so I guess I can't argue with that. Outside of board meetings, I also take care of our mailing lists. If you want to get spammed by job offers or event announcement, check out our mailing lists on our website :)

Daria Ihnatieva

Daria Ihnatieva she/her

Role: Infrastruktur

Heyyy, I'm Daria! I make sure oVIS stays in one piece and that you always get your morning coffee (even when the machine is being dramatic). I take care of all the infrastructure, from keeping the office cozy and stocked to making sure our common spaces don't turn into chaos. Please tidy up after your caffeine experiments :))

Demir Aydınoğlu

Demir Aydınoğlu he/him

Role: Kommunikation

I’m responsible for social media posts, updating the website, and advertising VIS events. There will either be a VIS tiktok account or a Google Calendar tool for the next Kommu (hopefully!) or neither. If you need something from me you can write to me on Slack or send an e-mail. I am in ovis on Thursdays between 12:00 to 13:00, if you want to come and chat with me. Please follow us on Instagram!
